PROJECT MANDATE
Creation of a photo book catalog showcasing artwork in specific stations of the Montreal Metro.
DESIGN THINKING
The main concept is to display the artwork throughout the stations as picture frames. In the fast-moving metro, we often don't get a chance to really see the art outside the windows. But when we do take a moment to look around, we can truly appreciate it. These moments are unique and special, so the book captures them, giving us a chance to fully admire the artwork!
DESIGN MAKING
The final book contains numerous pictures that were edited to look like film. Each one has a white border and is arranged in a neat, simple layout with plenty of space around them. This way, the focus is on the pictures. Some of them are slightly tilted to convey movement, as seen on the cover and chapter dividers.
By putting everything together, I created a nice booklet showcasing the "Art in the Metro"! :)
